Welcome aboard

We were built for people who do not want a desk. For crew who measure a year in seasons rather than quarters, and for captains who would rather hire someone vouched for than someone advertised.

Every candidate on our books has been spoken to, not just uploaded. We check the tickets, we ring the last boat, and we tell you honestly whether the fit is right — including when it is not.

The Ocean way

Boats do not run on CVs. They run on the person who notices the chafe before it parts, who keeps the guest cabin turned around in twenty minutes, who can strip a raw water pump in a seaway without being asked twice.

So we place on temperament as much as on tickets. We ask what the watch system is, how many are in the crew mess, and whether the boat is cruising or sitting in the marina — because those answers decide whether a placement lasts a season or a fortnight.

No fee to crew. Ever. Owners and management companies pay when the placement sticks.

Season and delivery crew, at short notice

Someone has broken a wrist in Palma and you sail Thursday. That is the call we are set up to take.

We hold a vetted standby list of crew with current tickets, valid seaman's books and B1/B2 visas who can be wheels-up inside forty-eight hours. Deliveries, yard periods, charter relief and single-passage crew, all quoted day-rate with no placement fee if the crew member is already on our books.

About us

Started in 2019 by people who had done the seasons themselves, and got tired of agencies that had not. Offices in Sydney and Antibes.

Work with us

We take on one or two ex-crew a year as placement consultants. Sea time is the qualification we care about most.
